O.G. 107 Fatigue Shirt

SP4 Ted Campbell

     Fatigue shirt worn by SP4 Ted Campbell who served with Company D (Ranger), 151st Infantry (Long Range Patrol) in Vietnam.  Company D (Ranger), 151st Infanry, Indiana Army National Guard arrived in Vietnam in December 1968. As part of the II Field Force, the Indiana Rangers were assigned reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering missions. Operating deep in enemy territory, Ranger patrols engaged enemy units while conducting raids, ambushes and surveillance missions. "Delta Company" achieved an impressive combat record during its tour in Vietnam; unit members were awarded 510 medals for valor and service.

Major Robert A. Dyess

      Joining the Army in November 1945, MAJ Dyess served as a heavy mortar platoon leader during the Korean War.  In 1963, he was assigned as the battalion executive officer fo the 1st BN, 511th Infantry, 11th Air Assault Division (Test).  The 11th Air Assault Division (Test) was formed in February 1963 at Fort Benning, GA to develop and test the tactics of aerial insertion through the use of helicopters. The techniques developed at Ft. Benning were implemented in the early days of America's involvement in Vietnam.

Salvatore Guerrieri

     SP5 Guerrieri joined the Army in 1970 and was assigned as a personnel specialist with the 1st Aviation Brigade in South Vietnam.  During his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal and Vietnam Civil Action Medal.

Dennis Cismowski

    From 1968 through 1969, (then) WO1 Cismowski  served in Vietnam as a pilot with the 71st Aviation Company.  His call-sign was Rattler 19" which is written on his helmet along with his name.

   SP4 Cummins served with Company A, 801th Maintence Bn, 101st AIrborne Divison. This pack was captured while fighting against the 812th NVA Regiment in the A Shau Valley.

     SP4 Green served as a combat medic assigned to the 37th Medical Company, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment from 1969 through 1970.
